Easy Beef Stew Recipe





This is truly an easy beef stew recipe which is cooked in the oven for 4 hours, then this very tasty stew is ready to be served.

No muss, no fuss.

Crusty buns or a loaf of sour dough bread would be wonderful to serve along with this simple beef stew recipe, and can be used for dipping up that last bit of scrumptious gravy.



Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. round steak, or stewing beef, cut into 3/4" cubes
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 1 cup potatoes, cubed
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 2 tbsp. minute tapioca
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. worchestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 small bay leaf
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp. beef granules, dissolved in 1 cup hot water
  • 1 cup Vegetable juice


Method:

  • Put meat and vegetables into a small roaster.
  • Combine liquids with spices.
  • Pour over meat and veggies.
  • Cover with lid.
  • Bake @ 250F for 4 hours.
  • Ready to serve.
